We are a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to serving the Chollo people wherever they are in the world. Founded in 2020, our ministry exists to draw the hungry and the thirsty to Jesus Christ and to nurture spiritual growth through worship, teaching, prayer, and community. What began as a call rooted in faith has grown into a global ministry united by love for God and commitment to His Word.
Our Mission & Service
At the heart of our ministry is a commitment to discipleship and spiritual formation. We believe the church is not simply a building, but a community of believers called to grow together, support one another, and reflect the love of Christ in the world. Through worship in Chollo, English, Kiswahili, and Arabic, Bible study, and prayer, we seek to create spaces where believers can encounter God’s presence and grow in faith.
Our leadership and ministry teams serve with humility and dedication, seeking faithfulness rather than recognition. Everything we do is rooted in prayer and a desire to see lives transformed through the power of the Gospel.
Minister Maljwok & Benane Kur, Founders & Directors
Ministers Maljwok and Benane Kur are the Founders and Directors of Wooni Yieyo Kiper Lagi Yesu, united by a shared calling to proclaim the Gospel and serve God’s people faithfully. Together, they provide spiritual leadership, vision, and oversight to ensure the ministry remains Christ-centered, Scripture-driven, and rooted in prayer.
Dr. Abraham & Nyamujwok Thubo, Discipleship & Music Ministry
Dr. Abraham and Nyamujwok Thubo serve together in the Discipleship & Music Ministry, using their gifts to nurture spiritual growth and lead the community into Christ-centered worship. Their ministry focuses on building mature believers through sound teaching, mentoring, prayer, and worship.
Ms. Martha Akurkuch, Elder & Mission Outreach
Ms. Martha Akurkuch serves faithfully as an Elder and Mission Outreach leader within Wooni Yieyo Kiper Lagi Yesu. She brings wisdom, spiritual guidance, and a strong passion for missions and evangelism.
Her work reflects Christ’s compassion through outreach, prayer, and service, reaching individuals and communities with love, truth, and hope. As an elder, she supports the ministry through leadership, encouragement, and faithful intercession.
Wooni Yieyo Kiper Lagi Yesu serves the Chollo community both locally and across the global diaspora. Through live and archived services on YouTube and Facebook, online classes, and prayer support, we remain connected across borders and time zones. Our ministry values unity within the Body of Christ while honoring cultural identity and language, always keeping Christ at the center of all we do.
